How to make insulated stainless steel water tanks

Basically it is equal to make two stainless steel water tanks in different sizes- one inner tank and one outer tank, then combine them together and finally fill the mixture of polyurethane & isocyanate into the gap between two tanks.

The thickness of the stainless steel insulated water tanks can be thinner than the one of non-insulated tanks, because of the support of insulation layer.

The production of stainless steel tank steps are as follows:

Step 1: To make the inner tanks and outer tanks of insulated stainless steel tanks as the normal stainless steel cold water storage tanks

Step 2: To make the manhole neck of inner tank covers higher than the one of outer tank and combine them together by spot welding.

We also offer the tank covers special for the insulated stainless steel water tanks, which are formed by press machines and more beautiful. You can also make them by yourself.

Step 3: to combine the bottom of inner tanks and outer tanks of insulated stainless steel tanks

The bottom of inner tanks and outer tanks should be strengthened with stainless steel square pipes. Then combine them with short stainless steel square pipes.

Step 4: Hang up the combined tanks upside and down. There should be an old tire or somthing like that for protection.

Step 5:  to fill insulation materials into the gap between inner tanks and outer tanks of insulated tanks.

Step 6: Fix the bottom plate at one side by spot welding.

Step 7: Cut off the insulation so that it is a little lower than the outer tank edge. And put the cutting-off materials into the place where there is blank.

Step 8: Inject more insulation materials all over the insulation surface so that the round sheet can be sticked.

Step 9: Press the round cover by heavy plate so that it can be sticked by insulation material firmly.

Step 10: Cut off the extra edge of the round bottom plate by electric scissor.

Step 11: Clean up the insulation materials from otuer tank edge before spot welding.

Step12: Fix the bottom round plate by spot welding.

Step 13: Polish the edge of the bottom plate.
